 Biography
Steven Vaughan is an internationally experienced senior consultant
with 25 years experience in economics, investments and funds management,
including the last 13 years consulting in financial services. His principal
capabilities, drawing on both consulting and funds management experience,
lie in fund management business strategy (particularly manufacturing),
investment strategy and fund structuring, product ratings and wholesale
and retail distribution.
Prior to establishing this firm, Steven had six years with Towers Perrin
Asia-Pacific with responsibilities including building the asset consulting
practice in Towers Perrin Japan and managing major client relationships
in Australia. Before this, he worked for several years with major bank
and insurance company funds managers in various roles including Chief
Executive, Chief Manager Research, Investment Strategist and Senior
Economist. He has also served as a senior economic adviser in the Australian
Government and in corporate economics.
Dr. Vaughan, who travels regularly to the United States, Europe and
Japan, has a doctoral degree in economics and international finance
from The Johns Hopkins University, and has qualified as an Associate
of the Securities Institute of Australia.
